Once you’ve registered, you might like to make a profile page, like I have done here.

Here’s how:

1) Log in, and click ‘write’ from the front page (the ‘dashboard’)
2) Click on ‘write page’
3) Put your name or nickname as the title
4) Copy and paste the following into the text box, then change the details:
Name: Your name
Location: Where you live
CENIT volunteer: Month/year
Programmes: Street Outreach market/other programmes
5) The rest of the page is for you to fill as you like. Why not upload some of your pictures from Ecuador?

To upload pictures:

Use the box below the text box. Use ‘browse’ to find the photo on your computer. Give it a title and a short description, then click upload.

The photo will appear in a section called ‘browse’ (if it doesn’t, click ‘browse all’.) Click on the photo once. Click once where it says ‘using thumbnail’ - this will change to ‘using original’. Then click in the text box where you want the photo to insert, and click on ’send to editor’ in the photo box.

Some scary-looking script will appear in the text box. There is an error in this text, and you will need to make one small change: where it says height=”86″ (for example) you will need to change the height to the same as the original picture. For example, the pictures on my page are 300.

Perhaps you’ve got some news to share with other CENIT volunteers, or maybe you want to drum up support for a fundraising venture.

You might just want to share a CENIT anecdote or send out a thanks to people you worked with in Quito.

This blog is also a place for us as volunteers to discuss how we can better help CENIT.
